About Event

The Annual Indian Open Sports Fest of VNRVJIET is by far the biggest Inter Engineering Collegiate tournament held in Andhra Pradesh. With its inaugural version drawing participation from 78 colleges with a total crowd of 1786 players which also includes around 450 out-station participants. VNR VJIET was established in the year 1995 by the Vignana Jyothi Society. Set in a sprawling lush green environment, the institute houses a separate state-of-art Sports Complex developed to cater to the sporting interests of the students. The wooden floodlit Basketball cum Badminton courts, the Billiards and Snooker tables, the Table-tennis setup, well-equipped gym etc. are every sportsman's dream. We have three Basketball courts, one of which is exclusively used by the girls, three Volleyball courts and a Throwball court. We have two synthetic tennis courts made by companies of international repute. We at VNR VJIET invite you to the Seventh Indian Open Inter Engineering Collegiate Sports Fest "VNRVJIET SPORTS FEST".Keeping up with the spirit of sportsmanship in our Institute, we have decided to organize the sports fest to provide a platform to unleash our love for sports. We warmly invite you to participate in the fest, display the spirit of the game in the true sense of the word and in the process build memories to treasure for times to come.

Accommodation

ACCOMODATION DETAILS: On request, accommodation will be provided to the out-station participants. The team should fill in the necessary accommodation request in the registration entry form. Accommodation will be provided from 3rd to 4th March 2015. Hence, teams are required to make their arrangement accordingly. All accommodation details including the travel details should be confirmed through phone on or before 23rd February, 2015. Teams should get their own locks to safeguard their belongings A re-fundable caution deposit of Rs.1000/- will be collected per college on your arrival towards any unforeseen damages to our property.
